Haymanot Tesfa
Haymanot uses mixed techniques and does still-life, portraiture and
illustrative work. Three of her paintings were published in books. The first
one is on the back cover of the Journal of Human Rights Practice, Volume 1
Number 1 in 2009. And the second two works are on the Front and back cover of a
poetry book, “Whistling back” by Hubert Moore. And the most recent one is
on the cover of a poetry book, "This Woman" by Nancy Charley, 2012.
In 2010 Haymanot decided to study Photography to gain more skill and now
concentrates on still life photography which she is more interested on. Most of
her photographs are influenced by her art works, including all the photographs
in this exhibition which are based on Mothers with HIV aids.
As well as an artist and photographer Haymanot also a ‘World’ music singer and works with different bands in London.
Jackie Hopfinger
Jackie Hopfinger is a
London based photographer who, as an amateur, had a love of taking photographs
for over 30 years. She had a successful career in local government and once
this finished she began to study photography as a new career. She is most interested
in photo documentaries, still life and travel photography. Her inspirations
come from trying to use photography to tell a story or to capture a moment, a
feeling or a mood.
Without
the past the future is formless – a photo documentary
You
get to a certain age and you start to look back as much as you look forward;
you wonder what happened to all those wild friends you used to know.
In
the mid 70’s we were students, we took drugs, we squatted, we partied.
By
the mid 80’s some semblance of real life began to hit. Relationships,
employment, children, housing all loomed on the horizon.
I
thought it was about time to find out.

Jessica M. Lotti
Born in Italy and currently based in London since 1994, United Kingdom, Jessica M. Lotti is a freelance music and events photographer, available for work in the London area.
She started shooting hardcore and punk band with a small compact camera in the squat scenes in Italy and Germany and was so impressed by the energy of the live show by this bands that it was essential for her to capture the moment. In 1992 she had her first real 35mm camera, with little resources she has managed to travel, during her journey she photographed artists at both gigs and festivals, her photographs have been published in magazines and newspapers nationally and internationally. She is currently contributing a selection of her photographs to a book called GuitArsonists, to be released later in 2013.
She continues to work on her personal project, and would like to expand her career in various fields.
The exhibition took her to a different level discovering a new the passion; realising that what she loves best is the challenge of capturing a moving subject.
